There are still plenty of monsters to slay and treasures to loot in our choose-your-own-adventure thrash masterpieces, Vale of the Basilisk.
Vale of the Basilisk, Perverse Osmosis’s epic choose-your-own-adventure-thrash album, is now ready to launch. Follow the link for the only kobold slaying, mimic fighting, druid freeing, basilisk stoning, olde school AD&D basement blitzkrieg that exists on this plane or any other.
We unveil Vale of the Baskilisk. We have no idea what we are doing so it should be fun. Something to eat or drink is admission fee.

August 7th: Perverse Osmosis is planning a show for Mathfest 2010 in Pittsburgh. Perverse Osmosis’s visualist, Dr. Leanback, is running a panel on complex dynamics and we are going to potentially unveil the finished Vale of the Basilisk, complete with choose-your-own adventure participation.
It is official: Perverse Osmosis is having another show. Baltimore’s Nerdfest is kind of PO/Save vs. Poison’s baby. It was PO’s first show ever when we did the first one in 2007; in 2008, we had about 60 people show up, and we did not know most of them. Perverse Osmosis played every song we knew, blasted everyone with our snow machine, and used about 40 strobe lights; the show ended with the chant of “Nerd, nerd, nerd, nerd.” Nerdfest 2009 was touch and go this year; PO/SVP is now living in three different parts of the country, but Ultra was up the task and organized the event. There will be the usual math with Dr. Dan and science with Dr. Stephanie [both real doctors, not those faker MDs,], but we are trying to increase the amount of liberal art offerings [learn how to write a villanelle, for example]. I will DM an adventure during the afternoon before the music starts. Bene Geserit Witch is playing with us and probably going to do their Dune rock opera, complete with fat suit. Fiend Folio reading Dirty Marmaduke Flute Squad also plans on gracing the event, and those guys were on The Next Great America Band. To round it off, Miltonius Prime and MC Diabeats will nerdcore us until we can’t nerd no more. Oh, there are also 3D glasses, flyers, and strobe lights.
